Router help

I need help with a router issue. I finished my unviersity exams and moved back home to work for the summer. My dad has a wired router for his home network and I am wondering if it is possible to plug my wireless router into the other one and be able to use the internet wirelessly from my room.

My dad's router is an SMC7004ABR Barricade router and the one i want to plug in into it is a Network Everywhere NWR04B.

Help:)

You would have to connect it with a cross-over cable, but otherwise I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I couldn't just use normal network cable?

Just go from the uplink port (shared with either #1 port or the last one) on your router to one of the ports on his router via a standard cat5 cable. It will work fine that way but I suggest turning it into a bridge
