Dunno if anyone else has recieved this email but I just got this email just seeing if anyone can help this guy out, here's the message:

My name is Jeremy Warren. I am doing a documentary for CBC Radio on car audio systems and the people that have them - just trying to find out what drives people to amass such huge systems. Other subjects I am trying to cover are the car audio competitions and the rising popularity of the sport in general.
I came across your name on a car audio website and because you are from Manitoba I was hoping you might be able to direct me to someone in Saskatchewan (preferably Saskatoon) who I might be able to talk to. I don't know if there is a club here but I am hoping you might be able to shed some light on my situation. Thanks so much for your time and help.

ya i agree looks like a total scam
he should have a @cbc.ca address
and it also looks like the use the city its central too

Hey there. thanks for the help but I guess i should have been a bit more clear judging by the responses on the board. I'm a freelancer so thats why i don't have a "cbc.ca" email account. To make sure this is legit you can contact my producer at Bridget_Keating@cbc.ca or you can phone her at 1-306-347-9516 before you talk to me. But geez, the repsponses your posting got with people thinking this is an spy mission just goes to show me how interesting and intense this sport can be. Maybe i should add this into the radio doc!

even if this guys legit I want to see someone who is mature meet him. I saw a storie on the news awhile back about street racing, and they had a 16 year old driver(he drove to fast through reidental areas and was just a punk, weaved in and out of traffic showing off.)<hurt the image of the scene very badly. If this should happen to our sport as well cause of a inexperence young kid tring to show off it would suck.
Be prepare for a back lash to come from this, its going to end up being a slanderous write up on the "evils" of Car audio.
Or as said above there looking to jack your ride, thats the first thing that entered my mind as well when I saw the topic.??

I am glad I am not the only one that got the bad feeling. I totally agree with Icon that whoever this guy speaks with is intelligent mature and not just a plain show off. This can seriously help the sport or make it look really bad, inturn causing parents to not want their kids involved. Personally I hate when parents think I am a punk.
