Unhappy

I own a 1996 Sunfire GT and totalled it off last night. I was leaving Edmonton, on my way to see my parents in Biggar, SK when I hit a deer. It happened so fast that I didn't even have time to hit the brakes. I hit it going about 110 and it messed my car up pretty good. The hood is gone, and now it barely runs. The deer also smashed in my passenger side window, covering me with glass. I had it towed back to Edmonton, and ended up taking the bus to Biggar. To make a long story short, I'm going to go get some pics of the car on Monday, and I'll post them as soon as I can for your enjoyment.
P.S. My stereo equipment is now for sale, as I have no car and a deductable to pay for.

Yeah I'm running Saskatchewan plates, so I pay 700 deductable and they'll give me whatever it's worth. I'm kicking my *** now b/c i meant to buy a better policy with no deductable on wildlife collisions, but i ended up forgetting. It was like 50 more per year. Man am I a dumass.

I have them on my car and I haven't seen any deer/moose since I installed them in the spring . . . I also haven't seen any elephants either since I installed them. I didn't know they also kept elephants away.

If it's a write off you don't pay deductable, well when our car was written off we didn't, but if it turned out to be fixable then we would have. Sorry about loss, that **** happens to quick but when you hitting something if feels like slo-mo your just watchin every second as that hood smashed and everything buckles up, did ya get the nice smell of down powder when ur air bags went off? When ya get a chance like you said with the pics, would be nice to see how it held up they say our cars Sunfire/Cavalier are throw away which pretty much they are but my sunfire gt held up not to bad considering we hit a truck we where only going about 60 though.

The bags didn't pop, which I am glad for. I just hope my stereo isn't stolen when I get back b/c it has to just sit in the parking lot of the autobody shop until monday when I can go get all of my stuff out of it. In my tin can, the hood is crumpled just about up to the windshield, and my passenger side window is smashed. I got a few decent cuts and got covered in glass.
