i just read an article that said the only part of his body he could move was an index finger, what kind of life is that. i admire that he didnt give up like many do, but pressed on with the grimmest of lifes to be an advocate and mentor for many spinal cord victims, a real hero in my eyes. his wife is a real hero as well, stayed by his side for the last 9 years since the accident. i just hope wherever he is, he's walking tall and happy
[img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] so thats why they were talking about superman on the morning talk shows... Thought maybe they made progress in the new movie... He'll be deeply missed... great guy...

O.K. since Furley was the bad guy in the Rodney Dangerfield thread I will be the bad guy in this thread. Ohh, the guy did so much for spinal cord research, well duh, he was rich and had a spinal cord injury. Before he fell off his horse he didn't donate a cent to spinal cord research. He was a marginal actor at best, the only movie I liked of his was Village of the Damned.
