Anyone know if the copy of the traffic ticket that's given to you is not signed by the officer in INK is void?
I remember hearing from someone who works with tickets saying that if the ticket is not signed in INK, then the ticket is useless.

thanks

I somehow doubt it as the officer says "sign here to acknowledge a copy of the ticket". So even if you do not sign it, you still get it.

is it a carbon copy or w/e they call the copies they rip off of the multicoloured ones ??? If so then it does not have to be in ink if I'm not mistaken. I could be wrong.

Well you could always take it to court and question it or ask a cop friend if you have one or a connection What've you got to lose.

If you don't like it leave Everyone is entitled to their opinion on the situation as well as anyones advice. Now see with your response you didn't even give any advice or an opinion on the topic at hand. So if you wanna be of any help to him please post an opinion or save the criticism(sp) for your own threads that you still seem to be upset over the last one. Don't take it out here, take it to pm's man.

Shylo - check through the HTA about it or even call a lawyers office and find out, there may be the loop hole IMO there's a hole in everything, again what've you got to lose right?
