Anyone have any opinions on trucks?

In the future I might be in the market for a truck, something small but Ive always loved dropped trucks, look so nice to me.

So i was looking at buying maybe a chevy s-10 or something like that.

Anyone have any comments on any other good trucks that are small and reliable? I dont want a ford, never liked ford and dont trust them in terms of reliability etc.

Just weighing my options here.

dakota's are wicked as long as you plan on staying on the road, and being nice to the drivetrain...if your lookin for a ditch driver, stay away.

I love my Sonoma. Lots of power for a small truck.

Why people always got to knock on Fords. FYI, on any given day I can probably count more Chrysler and GM's on the side of the road than Fords. And it does'nt really matter what it is, because all the car manufactures today build nothing but junk. Just my two cents worth

IMO when it comes to small and mid sized trucks there's only one brand to think about ............. toyota ......quality is awsome and fit and finish is second to none

If i was dissatisfied do you think i would highly praise them? I think not.

I second Toyotas. I always like the old style 80s 4 runners and they run forever. Toyota quality.

S-10s are god choices, lots of aftermarket.

I have been driving my dad's Toyota SR5 for almost a month now. I love that truck, ton's of power and reliable, plus it looks better than any other compact truck. When he is ready to sell it I am definately going to pick it up from him.
