Olympics summer and winter should be for the jr athletes. Basketball - NO NBA players they get their glory with the NBA. Hockey - Jr's there shouldn't be to men's Team canada teams its ridiculous. The NHLers get their glory with the NHL same as NBA players with the NBA. Thats how I think it should be.

The problem is one of enforcement. What is an amateur? Back in the glory days of the USSR all their athletes were "in the army" which meant that the government financed all their training and made sure they were totally taken care of. Many countries did it with certain sports. So you would have juggernaught teams that could not be beat in certain sports. Countries that did not have the finances to 100% support their athletes were losing out, because their athletes had to work full time jobs that interfered with training. I say let anyone enter and let them take all the drugs they want. Lets face it, the Olympics are really a test of who's country has the best doctor's and pharmaceutical companies. Let them take whatever they want and if they die of drug overdoses, they are disqualified [img]graemlins/wavey.gif[/img]
