Started my computer the other morning, had a message "I think we have a problem here, don't you?" and it gave the option of OK or CANCEL. I did CTRL ALT DEL, and then found the virus using AVG, but now whenever I type something it slows down, and the processor whirs like it is working on something. Anyone know of any fixes? Windows 98, old 550mhz computer if that helps. Thanks in advance.

 

you can always do a google search for whatever virus avg found and you might get responses of known fixes

I got rid of it with www.antivirus.com
can scan for free

 

Thank you both, still having problems..... so if you click on Yes then it leaves you alone? Damn hackers with nothing better to do.....
