Ape 09-05-2005 01:57 PM

in winnipeg its all around 1.19, 3.5 off at most.

MrEastSide 09-05-2005 02:21 PM

If I was patient enough to do the math of converting our dollars to yours and gallons to litres I would post. But, I am not. lol! It's been very expensive here though as well.

Ape 09-05-2005 02:34 PM

1 US gallons = 3.7854118 litres
at 3.00 a gallon it would work out to
3.00/3.79 = 79 cents a litre

which works out to 93 cents in Canadian currency.

BigBubba 09-05-2005 02:44 PM

We got 133.9 here with 3.5, but still, **** THE OIL COMPANIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, unleaded was going for 5.50-6.00 American dollars a gallon last week. Not sure what it is down there now though.

goofball2k 09-05-2005 04:52 PM

That works out to 1.16-1.26/liter CAD

Audio_Rookie 09-05-2005 08:04 PM

really...

my chicken scratch calculations show more like
$1.77/L - 1.93/L in canadian funds.

Assuming canadian dollar is at $.82 of an american dollar, and there is 3.785 litres/gallon.

I should mention that those gas prices were in Atlanta Georgia. My GF's brother just moved down there and was welcomed by the nice low prices.

j_link 09-06-2005 09:38 AM

146.2/l suds

t raver1 smith 09-06-2005 10:13 AM

2.19/l in Britain.

SwantonRX-7 09-06-2005 08:27 PM

I got 1.33 in Peterborough and on my way to Ottawa it was 1.19 in Perth.....I'm starting to wish I didn't buy my 7

SUX 2BU 09-07-2005 09:12 AM

1.18 around here. Wow I can't believe it's over 1.30 in Ontario and even in Kamloops  The insanity is oil dropped from $70 to $65 a barrel but of course gas prices follow 1 step behind the rising oil prices yet they say it will take at least a week or more for them to fall  Nope, no price fixing/collusion/greedy crap going on there.

I filled up my most expensive tank of gas yesterday. $71 for a full tank of regular in my 2000 Grand Caravan. I've never paid that much for a single tank of gas. I remember in early 99 I just got my first 99 Dakota R/T and could fill up for $22 when gas was as low as 27.9/litre
