Whats your current notebook/laptop of choice???

Hmmm so i can't completely afford it, but i'm still researching and praying for a way that i can buy a notebook. Definitely want the portability. I definitely want something powerful and fast. Do i do hardcore video editing so to speak - not really, maybe some burn a few dvd's here or there. Definitely run a lotta process's at anyone time (currenlty 49) and am just somewhat impatient i suppose, i want things done now when it comes to PC's. I do like having lots of storage room for music (currenlty 80gigs or so) probably an astronomical amount of pron, a couple movies here n there or dvd's, etc etc. So i'll probably keep some of my current drives and have a external drive bay (if not my computer). Might even make a mistake a and drift away from zuma and mine-sweeper to play a real game. I don't think i need a huge 17" or 20" screen, although i do want a clear crisp screen. Granted a full size keyboard would be intense, you can always go external.

Whats everyones current preference for a notebook computer. Brand and model so to speak. I'm semi partial to dell (xps1210) mainly cause I used to work for them, and know how I can manipulate the system if need be. So yeah....whats everyone else's choice. Keeping price somewhat in mind, i'll pay the cash for a solid computer, but i also realize you can build a 5 or 6 thousand dollar computer - and thats sorta silly in my opinion.

If you want video editing, why laptop? You have any constraints vs going against a normal pc?

Sorry, i meant to say I don't need to do any video editing for the most part. I have a desktop PC right now, but i definitely want the portability to move around the house or anywhere really.
