The one thing I don't get with the death penalty is you get it by murdering someone. But you are killed for it and the one that kills you gets to live?

 

There is a difference between a ritous kill and cold blooded murder IMO...

 

Thou shall not commit murder.

Nice rule if you say it fast, but it creates a paradox, resulting in life imprisonment as the only recourse, if you want to follow the rule yourself....otherwise, everyone can claim justification for the murders they commit.

 

i feel that people who steal and kill should be beaten to an inch of death and then allowed to recover
repeat this process repeatedly until
you go over that inch
i think that may make many people reconsider doing what they chose to do
victims families should be allowed to participate
