Fiberglass semi-runny after 4 hours

Just checked on my dash and the resin seems to be semi runny. i left the dash in the sun for two hours. I'm waiting for the morning to do do the next step!

Should I be concerned?

Jules, by the sounds of it you did not use enough hardener... with todays heat it should have been dry after 2 hours. Just leave it until morning, hopefully there is enough hardener for it to cure.. eventually.

four drops of hardener to 1 ounce of resin is what Read was enough. I did 2 ounces and 6 drops!

Sometimes old resin takes more hardener. I've bought gallon jugs that needed way more than the hardener bottle they give you.

I never go by recommendations, I just wing it until it changes colour and smell. Hasn't failed me yet.

resin has a shelf life so if it was old it would need alot more mekp hardener. sometimes you can cheat by putting mekp in a sprayer and misting your whole glass work. dont use too much tho or things get exciting.

The problem with this guy is that last time he used to much and his pods shrunk.
What MAcguyver said seems to work for me to, of course I use fresh everlast brand, the good stuff is worth it.
