I would say it started life as a Grand Am based on the roof line, roof contours, body side panelling, mirrors and hood. It looks as though he has added a 99+ Mustang front clip and shaved the rear door handles in addition to welding the rear doors rigid. So I'd say 75% GM, 25% Ford and 100% [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

 

might of started as a sunfire too...look at the rake of the back end coming into the trunk lid...need a rear pic.

 

Not a grand am....they have two pods on the dash
Not a sunfire, sunfire's don't have flush door handles and the roofline is flatter on a sunfire, also the windsheild on a sunfire is more right-angled at the top corners...
