If you're keeping w/ Pioneer ...

1 x TS-W305C > 2 x Those

I also thought of ImageDynamics, but they are very hard to get here.
Audio Magic (I think) has them in London.
I talked to the guy last weekend. He doesn't have a whole lot in stock, but he can order anything you want.
Its just off the Wellington exit.

Shiva is definitely a good buy if you don't mind the complete lack of flash ...

$160.50 shipped after taxes is a great deal

The only problem is that they're on vacation until August 17th

Jl W0's work well for reasonably cheap, I have always found. Kicker Comps, also.

sounddomain has some good deals in the "Open Box" section

some ID's there and other subs for a great price.

As for the pioneers, I had the later models from Pioneer, same thing only in 10's, paid like $45 each for them.

I had them in a pretty big ported box and they got nice and loud, didn't really have any regrets with them at all.

I've got a pair of the old TS-W254C models (silver w/aluminum dust cap) kicking around that I don't use anymore. They're both in perfect condition and I'd be willing to part with them for way less than Drive Buy is asking for those other subs. Hell, I'll even build you a box for them if you want. PM me if you're interested.

If you're still looking for some basic Pioneer subwoofers, the TS-W255C/DVC & TS-W305C/DVC or Premier TS-W105C/DVC or TS-W125C/DVC are head & shoulders better than the TS-W250R & TS-W300R. Again, I'm biased but most of my accounts say the current woofers are one of the best Pioneer has ever made & one of if not the best subwoofers around $100.
