What to do when
A mod on a private public forum posts openly for all to read, tells you to "**** OFF". Comments on this one people?
<EDIT> It was not this fine forum either guys, our mods here are fair and level headed.

I am not after a what can be done kind of answer, I am looking for a outside perspective on how a moderator should act.

What do you do? Well, what can you do? It's a forum where people come to express how they feel. Now a mod shouldn't be doing this for sure. If there is someone higher up you can complain to I would do that. Not sure what would really be done about it, but you could try.

since the mod in question is five foot f*** all I would assume it's small man syndrome.
I ran into the same gestapo tactics in that same forum. I think they need a good dose of reality. The "good ol' boys" group can do no wrong and different rules apparently apply to them. I say screw em, no more free advice from you or deals for any of them.
I read the thread and felt the smack in the face.
Be sure and give him a few V.I.'s when you get the chance.

Do I need them, nope, did I want to make it better for everyone else who has had the same thing done to them, yup. I could care less about their online old boys club. I see some selective police enforcement in his future as I have a good friend posted to Nanaimo as it turns out.
