Ahhhhh yea... get that fixed man, leaking gas all over is bad for our environment...

I used some quick aluminum epoxy on a gas tank once, and it held for years....

But I believe canadian tire will have something better.... there are also kits where you wrap a film around the tank, but you have to drop it off the car first...

Replace it. You can buy a putty/gum like substance that "supposedly" works. I tried it on my Chevette and it didn't work. Replace the tank and be careful doing so.

i would replace it but it is like 250 for a new tank plus 2 hours of labourso 360. and it is just a winter beater.so some form of epoxy.

Or you can get a new one. I just bought a brand new one from a place in eastern canada for an BMW E30. $215 CAN + ship.

A tank is cheaper than a fine for leaking fuel....or you car catching fire....unless you you have fire insurance!
