No TFOnes blew up although Yuli, Les and I all crushed dust caps (mine were shredded to pieces). This is only an isolated problem though, only the people who have reconed their TFOnes are susceptable to crushing dustcaps because the recones were slightly differant than the subs that come straight from the factory.
