I want to know if one RE MX 12" sub will sound better then 2 Kicker L7's . I will be feeding it 1800 RMS. WHich will sound better in a 35 hertz ported box ? And louder ?

 

2 L7's will be louder all other factors being the same. as for better. I have no experience with the RE sub, but L7's in a properly designed custom enclosure can be phenominal SQ subs. also 35hz isn't a magic nmber. depending on the specific subwoofer, lower or higher tuning can work out better for SQ

 

same power, more cone. it will either sound the same or L7's would be louder.
