I have a question regarding the location of the tweeter, where do you install them in a 02 Dodge Caravan? In the doors the speaker are really low (far from my ears compare to a car where you sit lower).

The dash is not an option
So should i mount the tweeter near the midbass (as recommended) or put them at a higher position?

Install the speakers in the doors, then keep the tweeters loose on a few feet of wire and try them at different locations to see what sounds best to you.

 

The trick is to try out different location and get one that sounds best.

So in a location where it doesn't sound harsh (SSSSSSss's and HHhhh's) as well as ensures your soundstage is at windsheild height and not down around your knees.
