I'm so damn Excited!
just got a new Dell 9100 series, nicely loaded witht the dual 2.8mhz processors, 1 gig od ddr2 ram, blah blah blah and a sweet 19" ultrasharp monitor.... ohh boy that thing rocks! ubber fast and quiet. so happy with it!!

Nice, I just got a Dell Inspiron 6000 not long ago for $1800 taxes in. Its a sweet computer, 1gig mem, centrino processor, and the 3 year in home warranty.
I dont think you can get much of a better deal anywhere other than Dell.

my brother could have pieced a faster computer together for 3/5th of the price but the reliability is an issue for me (besides this one has 3 yrs worth of warranty).

Why for? ... you do graphics work or something?
I got a Dual 3.2 Ghz Xeon with 2 GB of ram, 2 120 GB sata harddrives for raid 1, 6 channel sound card all for $1200.
I guess when you build your own comp, it really is alot cheaper.
Congrats on the new comp though.
edit: I don't think he has dual cpu, I think he has the 2.8 Ghz dual core since there is no such thing as a dual P4 cpu.

ya I could build a comp alot faster for that price..which is what im doing...but for someone that doesnt want to go and order parts etc etc. then good stuff..I always like getting a new comp so much faster then other ones

As for the 9100 though, thats an intense lil computer! Wish i could buy a new computer...again. I just like buying and getting new things and i guess a bit of putting htem together.
