there is a fallacy in your question because you are not really doing any of the above. You might think you are, but you really arent.

Now, to answer your fallacious question - those speakers are all the same.

I disagree. The type r are pretty good however I would buy the l7 because they definately have the advantage in SPL. For a cheap woofer they get very loud especially in small boxes

I don't know, the type r's never cease to amaze me actually. I was using them as test mules in my crx before finals and they actually blew me away. I did a 156.5 with them off of a single 1000.1 and never took one of them out. Come to think of it, over all the many years of selling them, we have sold a tonne of them, abused them and competed with them and have blown very, very few.

I know Alpine is a good brand in Car Electronics , just kinda feel unsatisfied with my Kicker L7 12's for some reason .... I cant even change the subs because there square and i'll need a new box again if i got with RE MT' or DD 9500's. By the way the box i got made for these Kickers is Amazing , i also got a 12x10 port in my car , had to cut the heats sink but w/e .

This question is not related to the thread but i want to know the Number of amps on your amplifiers Fuse or fuse's depends on the alternator or no ???

I Have a Hifonics BXI2008D Amp running at 1 ohm it does not have fuses and it says on the spec sheet fuses not included. The spec sheet says to have at least 200 amps of Fuse's for this amp.

So Does my alternator have anything to do with it, like my alternator is 120 Amp's and the fuses on my amp are 200 amp will i be able to get enough power or no ??? Or is it a totally different thing ?

dude why are you so confused? Do you know what a fuse does? As in all those fuses in your car or fuses in any other electronic device? The fuse for your amp does the same.

I REALLY hope that answered your question about the fuse.

Type r's are solid subs offering good performance overall at a reasonable price(especially if you get them online, then it's a steal!). I've had mine for 1.5 years now with no problems at all. I'm not an spl guy, but they do get used for 3-5 hours a day, everyday at reasonable levels. They sound really good with all types of music, and get more than loud enough for daily listening in any car, unless you really don't value your hearing, or want to get plowed in an intersection by a fire truck (some of the heaviest vehicles on the road by the way)doing 60 mph because you didn't hear it coming! Kicker L7's are a nice sub as well, but I haven't heard it enough to give my opinion as to it's overall value.
