How To Make An MP3 CD
Hey I was wondering if there is any special way to make an mp3 cd to listen to in an mp3 compatible cd player in my car. (just got one) I notice in the manual it offers different ways to search the cd on the deck through folders and just the files, does that mean you can create different genre or artists folders on the cds or just compile the cds in mp3 format the same u would a regular audio cd?

make sure you burnit as a data cd
I usually just throw 100 or so songs on in ther root folder and use the "random" button on the deck
I also make some mp3 cd's with a single folder for each album, then you just skip through the folders like cd's in a cd changer
be sure to use ISO format with long filenames

Also thats what i was inquiring about how u said u can make the folders, do you just drag the folder onto the cd (in the program) and it'll work like a cd changer would on the deck cept your searching through folders?
Example: Making an Oldies Music folder, Rap music Folder and say a Alternative Rock folder, it'll read each folder correct?

yep that's how it worked for me ...just put em in folders ........
as for the "mp3" cd ......... my kenwood does weird things when I burn an "mp3" cd, I use ez cd creator 6, it adds some kind of "player" software to the mp3 cd's
never used nero

ok i don't have nero in front of me as i'm at work....but when you're going thru the nero cd creator wizard, it'll ask:
What kind of cd do you wanna make?
Music, Data, and something else are your option.
Choose Data.
Then it'll ask if you wanna start a new cd, or continue an existing multisession?
Assuming this is the first time your writing to this cd, it's a new one.
After that, you click create and you drag and drop your music onto the cd (in folders if you like)
!!!!easiest thing is to use the wizard though, and make a data cd!!!!

just use the mp3 option on nero, its foolproof,...i do what dodgeram does, but folders work well on my panasonic, with folders its just easier to find a genre of songs you like and play through them, or sort them into specific bands and so on
