I have an old Aptive 550mhz PC, with a 14GB hard drive. I am looking to add a second hard drive, this seem like a decent one?: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...05&catid=10484

Any other recommendations? I am not looking for a new computer, this one is old but it does the job. Thanks!

Western Digital Hard drives are fairly decent. As you said you have an older computer just make sure that your Mainboard's BIOS supports an 80GB drive.

If not the drive should come with it's own software that allows it to install in an older computer.

Also if you want a drive cheap you can goto any local computer store and buy an OEM drive. They would be about $10-20 cheaper.

I wouldn't buy one from futurecrap. I would go to an online store because it's usually cheaper.

a 80 gb should be fine with the bios. Seagates are the best imo

^^^Wether it's FS,BB,Staples etc etc there all made by the same companies anyway.. Granted if it's cheaper at a smaller comp store then yeah makes sense to stay away from the bigger stores.
