im looking for an enclosure for a 10" to fit the stock subwoofer location in my wifes hummer h3, i know jl makes one but, i want one without a sub already. anyone know where i can get one???

 

you best bet would be to make one or have one made because then it will fit the truck nicely and it will sound better then any prefab box... someone one on here might be able to build on for you for a fee or you can contact a car audio store not a big box store like future shop or best buy though.

 

Besides the JL audio one no one else makes one. Unless you know how to work with MDF and fibreglass all you can do is use a better 8" or pop a box in there. The stock 8" is a dual voice coil. 4 wires go from the monsoon amp into it.

A guy in the States had one made in the rear door with 2 - 10's or 8's but it was a $1500US+ job!
