Unless you tell your manager

Of course if there is a case of beer sitting beside your car when you go home, you can't leave it sitting in the parking lot

That's too bad -- a couple of guys used to bring me Guinness around Christmas time every year and I was a lowly salesmen! (yes, I would offer to share it with the boys in the back but they did not like Guinness). I used to always let clients tip the installers -- in fact I would sometimes let the installer just charge a customer cash and keep it if it was a quick job and they had to do it outside (especially in the rain) -- and they were on salary!

Nothing like getting some good bum for a tip (from a hot chick only though), followed closely by Crown, lunch, slurpees, whatever. It's nice to know that the customer appreciates the job done and when they stop in to see why their car is still here after 2 days of glass work, exactly why things take so long. Yup put a deck and amp into a old Daytona back in the late 80's up in Armstrong and the girl had just bought the car a couple of months earlier. Seems she was also a bar star and always put her change in the center console. Well here I am putting in the deck and running the wires and just before I do I run my feet across the carpet under the floor mat and all I hear is crunch crunch crunch. Put my arm in under the smelly wet floor carpet and pull out $12.00 in change, Crunch, crunch, crunch. Eventually pull out the seats and center console to find $357.93 (wrote it down) in loonies and quarters etc that she did not know she had that had fallen out of the center console. IF you guys ever have one of these mid 80's Daytonas come in, check for loose change under the carpet, mainly up front. Did this chick give me a tip, not a chance, she paid her bill and went to the bank, what a cheapskate.
