After seeing what was available and the cost for good ones, I made my own ring terminals out of 1/2" copper pipe.

Yeah well it also serves as an air intake box but once I get a new intake I will be getting rid of the cover and replacing the battery etc...

Got any pics of the homemade ring terminals? Going to be changing 4ga to 0/1ga soon and might look into making my own rings for the big 3.

X2 on the pics. i've tried it myself with some 4AWG and it turned out rather shitty.

If you look at my ground wire you should see it. I just flattened out a section of pipe. I soldered the end of my wire first. The I filled the open end of the pipe with solder and then submerged the wire in it. Then rounder the end to make it look decent and used heat shrink on it. It looks decent and is a hell of alot better and thinker then an average ring terminal. Its goo for the "big 3" but I would not use it where appearance is an issue.
