don't worry, you won't be up agaist much anyway... most people talk more than what they actually put up...
there's only a limited few that can put up big numbers... other than that, we'll just have to wait till next season

pretty much anyone can be loud with the right install and the only way to find that is through countless hours of testing

Btw... if you see a silver Jeep with tinted windows at a show, just walk away

you need to fire the subs up and run the amp at 0.175 ohm, then you should do any from 145-148

test test and test don't be afraid of asking some questions on hear for designs that might work or some little pointers. what kind of car? what amp ?ohm load on subs. battery you are using ? what kind of wire eg.0 gauge 4gauge you have.are you planning on just running the 1200 watt amp for the year maybe upgrade to a little bigger if you have the budget.one of the key things to audio what is your budget.
