Some subsonic filters are simply turned on/off with the push of a button. Some have a dial, like the Memphis amp I'm using. The SSF on my amp can be set between 25 and 50Hz. I set mine right in the middle, which should be about 37.5Hz. Each octave below that gets dropped in volume by 24dB, since its a 24dB/Oct. slope...

How much power are these subs getting right now? What amp are you using?

^^that's seems a little high to set your ssf, but if it sounds good..great. Usually, or typical settings are around 25-30 hz, but you can experiment...that's why it's user adjustable.

I wonder if it would be a less expensive route to find an amp that is capable of 1500W @ 1ohm. Since you're running at 1.33ohm, you wouldn't quite get the full output. If you got 1400W out of it, that'd be 466W per woofer. Almost double what you have now.
I'm curious which change would result in more bass, 600 more watts, or a new ported enclosure. Hell, do both. The subs can handle more. lol
