Got both doors fully covered in b-quiet ultimate now.
They are solid as hell. There were a few big holes that got 3 layers, and a full layer everywhere else. What a difference in the mid bass now. Can almost turn the subs off for some stuff. LOL Deeper and much tighter, punchier now. BigRedGuy is letting me borrow a 6.5" Fosgate coax he had laying around until I get the new components.
It sounds almost as good as it did. We also made new mounting rings as the old ones were both split in a couple spots and wouldn't have sealed too well. Both doors should be almost totally sealed off now. Hopefully will have everything redone before the June 14th show. I figure for $300 or less incl the new components I can improve my SQ score by quite a bit. Still have a bit of b-quiet left too, might be enough for the trunk lid. BRG picked up a roller, makes it much easier.
Couple of obligatory pics....
Shiny silver door.

Ready for a mounting ring.

Ring in and driver mounted.

All put back together.

What a PITA to do, the whole time thinking this had better be worth it. Well so far first impression is it seems to make a huge difference, well worth it.
Let me know what you think.

Cover all carpet and trim, if it even touches it will stick for good. Make sure you have a roller, makes it a lot easier. Be prepared to spend some time, took about 3hrs / door. Let me know if you want a hand.Nick

J/K bro, I have no idea other than price.
