Hi I have the Alpine MRD-M1000 V12 Amp and 2x Type-R Subs the amp is 1000rms 1 channel and 500 rms at 4 ohms the subs are setup for 4 ohm at 500rms each.

there are the 9 modes on the amp plus mode 0

You only have to set modes 1-8 what should I set the settings to so it doesn't blow my subs but I get max bass thanks!

 

If you don't have the manual its a PITA, each mode references a different variable aspect of the amp operation. Fortunately the manual is here, looks like you have some playing around to do.....

Yeah I mean should lpf be on if so what frequency and should hpf be on and if so what htz and what should i set decks hpf and then what should the other settings be the dbs and ms and whatever else there is for these 2 specific subs so i can get max power without blowing them my speakers can handle any settings on my deck without getting distorted

 

i'd set the LPF to around 80hz

as for the gains, thats something your going to have to trial and error unless you can get your hands on an o-scope
