3 Subs Ohmage?

If I have 3 2-ohm single coil subs. What are my options on wiring them to a monoblock amp?

The amp is a Punch P300-1. From what I read, it's stable down to 2 ohms? So, how can I wired 3 subs to get an ohm load above, but closet to 2?

Only option is to wire them all in series. Not going to get you close to 2 though. Bad mix of subs to amp, really bad.

Hmm, what about a 2 channel amp? This amp says mono, but it has 2 channels?

Rockford Fosgate® - P300-1

But, yeah, I'm looking into this for a friend of mine. I couldn't find anything on wiring 3 subs to a mono amp without wiring series, which I wanted to stay away from.

Does there being 2 channels change anything?

No it would not change a thing for you in this case. Ditch one sub, wire them in series and IF it is a 2 channel amp, bridge the amp to mono 4 ohm and then you are cooking with crisco.

Mmmmm.....lard....

It's a mono amp with 2 sets of speaker terminals...........OP, either swap the subs for a pair of 4ohm SVC subs, or sell 2 of the ones you have and build a really good ported box for the single sub......the amp is only good for 2ohms, any lower and you may let the magic smoke out.....

Even getting 3 8ohm subs and wiring them in parallel would work but then you are down to 125W/sub..........
