my install so far (56k no way)

well most of my components are finally here, still waiting on the XXX 12" sub, i will start box building tommorrow and then the amp rack, this stuff has been sitting in my room for a week... i would have the speakers in, however im still waiting on speaker grilles for my hd-6's, im starting to get real anxious

Lookin clean. Are you making a new panel for that or are you just using the stock one?

im not sure what you mean by "new panel" if its about the door speaker mounts, those are already made by me...

My bad, i meant what is going to cover the wood and dynomat (I know it isn't dynomat but I can't tell what kind you used)? Or in other words are you going to make a panel out of fiberglass or are you just going to cut a speaker hole in the stock panel. Do you know what I mean?

are you running the comps active? if so what x-over points you using?

Where are you mounting your tweeters?

oh, i understand now, im just cutting the door trim around the grilles when i get the grilles, the tweeters are going to be flush mounted about 6 inches higher than the mids, i will take pictures of the cut door trim when i get home, the deadner i used is b-quiet extreme. i will be running the components active, with a cross over of 3khz, as that is the highest x-over point possible on the 8004, then i would low pass the components at 100hz for the sub i hope to get an active crossover eventually, but not at this time, hopeuflly it will sound good with the 8004 doing the work. tonight im building the sub box... will post pics when finished
