Hey guys,
just wondering if anyone can help me by giving me a little insight as to how to determine the tuning frequency of a box.
I figure it has to with the number of squared inches that make up the port (thanks to Don for that one) but I was just wondering if there is some mathematical formula to determine how to tune a port

Yeah thats what I try to use now, but I thought knowing how it actually works would make me look smarter hahaha. I know they give the formula for round ports, but I was hoping for slot ports. Either way, thanks alot guys.
but I'm not pretending when I say I don't know what all the variables mean lol
wait, think i got the first one
fb = box frequency
Dmin = minimum vent port diameter
Np = number of ports
Vd = maximum air displacement by cone excursion
wait think i got the second too, just too much to type. I guess this means I might need to get some T/S parameters for these TFX's *cough*
