mtx 502 amp

mtx 502 amp

hey, had a mtx amp , hooked up once and worked fine, sold it and gentlemen i sold it too , keeps saying it's blowing fuses, does anyone have insite to this? could it be the amp, he says wiring's good, all the people i have phoned who sell car audio say wiring, but what else could it be>?

fuses on the amp or the fuse from the battery?

Fuses in the amp = major problem in the amp (sometimes related to hooking power to ground and ground to power for example - depending on the protection circuitry of the amp).

hey so took to bestbuy and they did a "benchtest" amp lights up , and doesn't blow a fuse, but when hook speaker wire up ,nothing, ? any clue 2 what prob is?

stab in the dark, I really do not know amps

but perhaps the outputs were blown by accidently touching the pos and neg speaker cables?
