clear steering wheels

I have seen these clear plexy steering wheels here and there on other ppls cars and am wondering where one would find them?

And they should only be used for show, cause they are not designed for actual street use. Actually I believe you can get fined for using them on the street.

Yeah, I can't see a clear plexiglass or acrylic steering wheel being strong enough to hod up to the abuse.

There actully not that hard to make, depending on your car. And they can be pretty strong, but I still wouldn't want to use one in my daily driver.

Looks like they do, but there must be some kind of reinforcement to it. For that price, that ain't too bad. But out of stock till Aug 09?
