truck bed coating.

i built a box, and carpeting is a bitch. anyone have any experience with using rubberized truck bed coating? id be painting the box inside n' out, probably with spray can (heard the roll on is messy) the coating does deaden sound, decreased vibrations in a box is a good thing, right?

inside the box is a bad idea as it is a VERY porous product!! The floor of your car, and the outside of the box would work

Ya, I'd stick with resin for the inside of the box.

the aerosol cans of truck bed liner are about $9 a can where I live. My box would have taken 3 or 4 cans. I hear its messy and takes several days to dry but turns out good. I took my MDF box to "Line-X" and had them spray it with what they called "waterproofing" thickness. It is a little thinner of a coat than how they spray the bed of a truck. He charged me $90 total and it was dry within 3 seconds! It looks great! I would do it again. he did not do inside the box.
