Hey guys and gals,

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. I didn't see any particular forum that fit what I was looking for, except the "for sale" section, where responses aren't possible. And responses are what I'm looking for...

I'm just looking to find out if some gear I've got lying around is worth selling, or if I should just give it away to younger cousins...

All I've got is a set of MTX 8-inchers in truck-style boxes. The boxes are well-made and also have a tweeter built into each. Made to fit behind those tight fitting truck seats when there's no extended cab. You know the type, I'm sure.

Also, I've got a set of 4" Pioneer speakers. They're pretty good (for their size), but a couple of years old. Should I bother putting a price on them and posting them for sale, or just find some family member who can use 'em and let them go? I used to have a small Toyota pickup, and these things actually sounded really good in there, but they've been sitting in my basement since that engine blew.

I'd really appreciate any input. Thanks a bunch.

Likely only worth some beer from a buddy as a trade but what are the model #'s just in case.

 

Just took a look and can't find any model numbers on the boxes. The 4 inchers must be squirrelled away somewhere at the moment. I think I only paid a little over 100 bones for them to begin with...

I'll see if anybody I know has any use for them. Worst case scenario, I've got a decent garage setup just waiting to get hooked up.
