S-Video to RCA

Anyone have a schematic on how to do this? Ive been searching the web and found a bit of info but nothing great. I know you can buy these by I have all the pieces already I just need to know what connections on the 4 pins hook to the RCA connector to get picture.

any help appreciated.

Yeah, they have the big boxes you can buy that switch over S-Video to RCA and to RF modulation as well but those go fr like $39 or so from what I have seen.

The basic S-Video to RCA stick (looks like a phono plug coupler) is only like $7 US but I rather try it myself.

Matt, Rat SHack sells an adapter for $20, its a bit of a pain to initially use, but it does do the job.

what about a monitor output (from a laptop) to s-video or composite video? anyone ever heard of something like that? i know the main problem is that a comp monitor is progressive scan...

I know they make something like that. My cousin has one. I think it is make by creative or something. It has a monitor in/out, a s-video in/out and a RCA in/out and you can switch between all the things.

ok I found the schematic online, seems ver easy for the s-video to rca, now Im looking for an S-Video or RCA to coaxial, seems a bit harder to do.
