rocker switch help

okay, 12v power is coming from the battery.

Have a Rocker switch, two prongs, looks alot like this (no led):

its a 20 amp switch.

going to use it for the ignition/accessory wire for an aftermarket h.u. to toggle a stereo setup on/off.

using a 16g wire fused, straight to the battery. Should this be wired to the + or - of the battery, and what size fuse should work okay?

also, to wire a switch, does it sit in the line like an ATO fuse holder would?

any help here, thanks.

Not sure why you want this to go to the battery but...

The wire would go to the + terminal of the batter, be wired inline like a fuse, and connect to the red lead of the radio. Use a 10amp fuse, or the same fuse rating as the deck has in it. THe fuse would go near the battery.

if you don't know how to wire in a simple switch... please don't. you could end up doing something stupid.
