Ground Point Corrosion

last week i was upgrading my wiring and i removed one of my grounds and noticed a bit of corrosion on the area in which the surface paint was ground off (on top the the wheel well which might explain things) so my question is can you apply some grease underneath the terminal to prevent this?

I would remove the terminal and sand the suface clean again and sand or replace terminal, clean up bolt or screw and reinstall then spray the area with paint or clearcoat to seal it and if it protrudes out of vehicle spray and seal there also

Best way to clean it ,Its Hot Water and Baking Soda. then grease it. reason the baking soda stops the battery acid to reforming the corrosion.

sand it and wipe with alcohol then bolt it (this was advice I got from an electrician, he know nothing about stereos, but everything about power)

baking soda and water works like a charm and its cheap and effective! Just make sure you clean your mouting point and the ring that's one it. you can use some dialective grear on it to make sure!
