Hey guys listen up i bought this head unit about 6 months ago and when i put in a dvd it doesnt play on the screen. someone said to me that its the emergency brake cable has to be connected, but i havent tested that. Please help me out, spend a fortune on the unit.

Yes the E-brake cable must be connected to the e-brake wire. It is connected on the switched side of the wire.
