Clarion APA450 4 channel amplifier

first of all, does anyone know the true power rating of this amp?
also, will it be okay to run my dual 2 ohm type r with?
i plan to run one channel to each voice coil....
is this okay to do?
will i need two rca cables for this setup?
and how should i wire up the sub inside the box just plus to plus and minus to minus?
sorry, not good at this kinda stuff, any help would be appreciated.

yes run each voice coil off each chann of the amp. a 4 chann amp needs rca's for the signal form the deck.

From what I could muster it looks like it'll produce 50rms x 4 channels, it is 2 ohm stable I would imagine it would put out 100rms at 2 ohm per channel... this is not really an ideal amp for your sub as you would only be able to use half of the amp.. most amps in bridged mode will only allow for a minimum of 4 ohms... if you already own the amp use it for your in car speakers and look into either a 2 channel or mono amp for your sub.. my 2 cents come cheap..

According to this link, that amp will work OK with the front 2 channels running in 2 or4ohm stereo for your comps, and 4ohm mono for the sub. The built-in Xover means only 1 set of RCA's and around 200wrms for the sub.

If you try and run the sub off the amp bridged down to 2 channels, the 2ohm per channel load will cause more problems than it's worth.
