99 Blazer front stage x6

I was commissioned by Sir Mat Ramaine(lettuce) to build him a suitable front stage to match his REAR (4x18s) FILL.

The build consists of 2 Selenium Super Tweeters, 1 pioneer pro 5-1/4 midrange, and 2 peeless 6-1/2" midbass drivers....PER...DOOR!!!!

And to make matters worse...another pair of pioneer pro 5-1/4 midranges are in the dash.

now the build photos:

should be done over the span of the next few weeks

Just curious what the green substance is on the panel?

Did you seal it off so it doesn't vent off to the back of the door panel?

The green stuff is Bondo's version of kitty hair. Matt drilled 500+ holes and I applied thin mixed layers short stranded fiberglass. This helped so the panel didn't buckle when I went to wrap the door skin. The next step is to re-enforce the rings on the back side and add fiberglass mat on top of the fleece.

I'm praying it all holds but with the amount of bass Mat's truck has. I woulnd't be surprised if the door skin didn't snap.
