New System Advice
New System Advice
Just about to pull the trigger on a new system. I was hoping for opinions. I just got an 07 Ford f-350 crew cab. The gear i have decided on as follows. Up front the Focal 165 K3P 3 way set powered by the Focal Dual Monitor Amp. Back Doors, the Focal 165 K2P 2-way set powered by a Focal FP 2.150 Amp. Under the Back seat "3" Exile Audio xtec 10 inch subs (space issues) powered by the Focal FP 1.800 Amp. Head unit Alpine IVA-w200. My question is, is the back door set really a necessity with the FP 2.150? Will my front speakers just drown them out? 400 watts to front 3-ways vs 150 watts to rear 2-ways with 800 watts of bass am i just wasting money on my back doors? Money not so much of a factor. I just want an awesome sounding system. I believe i'm upgrading from my old alpine type r set up with alpine amps and a single 10in sub (another truck install).
1.Will the rear 2-way set on the smaller amp be a waste or will it add to overall effect?
2. Will the rear set actually take away from the front set, quality wise?
I know i can just Fade out the rears if i want a defined soudstage with the front 3-ways. But i might want them for that booming club feel.
Thanks from a newb

The only reason I would put the rear door speakers in is if you plan on having rear passengers who will appreciate having tunes back there. If this isn't going to happen often then delete the rear fill.
