Rockford Fosgate 15''

Hi, Im interested in buying one of my friends old subs. He said his uncle got them from a competition car so I presume they are good. If you have time could you check it out and see if it is worth $150

Rockford Fosgate RFP-1215

Thanks in advance!

Absolutely kickass woofer. Not worth $150 though IMO. More like a hun, if it is *mint*

I think it is in pretty good condition, this person I know is coming home this weekend and we are going to hook it up to a kenwood 500W rms amp and see what it is like. Would it be better to buy a new $200-$250 sub or go with this one for $150?

If the sub is indeed in great condition you won't find much better in the $200-250 range for a 15".

As Dukk stated the RFP1215 is a stud. It had really nice SQ abilities and it can get good and loud with the rated 500rms. IIRC all Punch DVC's of that year ('99 I believe) were all dual 4ohm.

Enclosure specs were 1.0-1.75net (sealed) and 1.75-3.0net (ported). Stay to the higher end of the numbers to get the best out of this driver.
