Would your Insurance company take an appraisal done by a Stereo shop?

Thats'd be my guess.

Come down this weekend I wanna see my old subs!

I wanted to get mine appraised, but my insurance company told me that unless I had reciepts for the work, they wouldn't pay out on any appraised value. They figured that if I did the work, then it was worthless and they didn't need to pay for it.

I'm in "high risk" (I had an accident in 2000) so there's only one company that'll cover me (that I know of) so I'm screwed, and to get any extra stereo insurance, they want 10% of the value of the gear every year
