Hi guys- I need a 'stock' carpet material to cover the box- I'm not gonna do anything fancy this time so its either gonna be a black suede or that carpet stuff- where are you getting this stuff? fabricland doesn't even know what i'm talking about.

 

car audio shop..special order, expensive, can take some time to get it.

 

Trunkliner is cheap and any install shop should have it.

 

if you ever go down to waterloo, lens mills has any fabrics you want, cheap

 

Awesome, that's what i was looking for, cuz its either that carpet or suede... so if carpet is significantly cheaper then suede i will go with it, otherwise suede looks better.

no problemo, I go there often and get fabrics for boxes so I know they have it...

 

I got some good carpet for my box at home hardware, it was $45 for a 6x10 roll

 

I allready used a black headliner - lands run out of that carpet, but it worked out quite nice - it's just not very durable lol... But then I never open the trunk anyway

 

How dous MDF like to be painted?? My freind had his jeep damaged by a mechanic so thop is paying to have it sprayed, what would happen if he had the bodb guy spray the box at the same time??

 

i went to home depot and got my carpet for 40 bucks aswell.. 6x12 feet. $50 including the spray adhesive. its grey striped so it matches my trunk very well. pics comming soon
