17 x 29 x 36, is that height-depth-width?

You have 7.96875 cubes as a sealed box with 1" MDF, which is more than enough for two 12's. You could invert the subs and use the ports outside the box, but do you have the space?

Gonna switch up?

well first i want to try this box out see what it can do and if it is just another fail box then i am going to switch it up to 2-12's

might as well work with what you got right?

the one on the right but face the subs towards each other
you would be creating a tunnel then
but i am not sure how to tune it tho
