just wondering how they compare to others out there. i have chanceto get one today and need to know if they suck or not. thanks!

 

ive never used one, but most people think theyre pretty good.
the older ones seem to be more popular tho.

 

I would not be touching one of the new ones. The old ones that were indeed Soundstream, for sure.

 

Depends greatly on the model. There were plenty of oldschool Soundstream problem amps back when they were indeed Soundstream also.

Yep i agree oldschool Soundstream were REAL quality amps

 

I sold the original Soundstream and they were decent. The "new ones" by CRUNCH SUCK SUPREMELY, one of my dealers in the Lower Mainland has told me horror stories about the new amps. They blow up on a 4 ohm stereo load!

 

Arn't the new ones Power Acoustik built? If it was Crunch they might actualy be half decent.
