96 VW Golf Enclossure Build

Hey guys, well just got me a 96 vw golf cl 4 door that i am planning on building up for my stereo. I have a set of powerbass 3xl 12's and a powerbass 4000xtd amp. I have started running the 1/0 and will be getting a yellow top for super good deal real soon. I am right now stuck on how to build a box that keeps me in street b. I know there a few guys around on here that know the vw inside and out so all i can say is help. I have a week and a bit to build a box for a local show and i am hoping to post some solid numbers. So ne one with some input on a good enclosure design for a vw I am looking for ideas........

I can actually help you quite a bit....I compete with a Golf 2003 4dr, which is not the same but pretty damn close. Either way I also compete in street b and c. The best design I could suggest for that car would subs firing up and port back.
Post your cars max width you can use for the enclosure and max height and depth also....remember the rear seat must be able to go up and lock, so mainly the top depth is the most important. With that info I can help you design an enclosure for SPL. Also by any chance do you know your cars RF....if Im not mistaken I think its around 55hz, I remember DJ, used this car also maybe he can help you out a bit too, with some tips of do's and dont's on this specific car.

Here is what i would figure the max dimensions could be with ports firing drivers side i have the tallest it could be being 20inchs, the widest it could be is 34 inchs and the length well i think would be 21 inchs from of top of back seat in locked postion to hatch. I may be wrong but i would be the first to admit that the measuring buisness for box building aint my thing. I have 4 3inch aero ports that are 18 inchs from flare to flare. I know that i should go with bigger ports but for this build i am going with the 3 inch one. ne ways let me know what u all think
